Quality Assurance Program

Quality systems are controlled according to documented procedure as well as management guidelines. The management approach is grounded in the concept that documented procedures and processes ensure the delivery of quality products and services. Convergent utilizes qualitative and quantitative measurements to determine performance levels on a continuing basis. Convergent has implemented Quality Plans for numerous customer environments. It is Convergent’s policy to review our Draft Quality Plans with our customer to incorporate any metrics they may wish to include at the contract level of operational reporting. Our draft plan is constructed to be flexible to accommodate customer preferences, provide a common format for reporting monthly and quarterly on pre-established metrics, and includes a customer evaluation report for rating performance. Convergent’s quality system was developed to meet SEI CMMI standards. Convergent’s quality program provides the framework for ensuring that products/services provided conform to the specified customer requirements. The Convergent president is responsible for our overall quality system. This includes independent customer visits and satisfaction surveys. During or just prior to beginning any work, the PM develops a Project Plan that identifies inspections, validations, evaluations, and corrective actions related to performance.
